Meet The Owner
Our Story
I started working in the cleaning business as an employee in 1986 while in college at Towson University. The flexible work hours of cleaning buildings downtown at night allowed me to pursue my studies and baseball during the day. After graduating from Towson in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in physical education, I started my teaching career at Hereford High School as physical education teacher and head baseball coach. I never lost interest in the cleaning industry, so I started Cooper Cleaning. As Cooper Cleaning grew over the years, I was able to give up teaching in 1998 and became full-time owner. This has allowed me to really dive deep into the cleaning industry, connecting with numerous business owners, professional organizations, and networking groups helping us to develop personal relationships with the community and our customers. In 2015, Cooper Cleaning was rebranded as Specialty Cleaning Consultants that we feel represents the next level of innovation, standards and expertise in the cleaning industry.
